Are there any prepaid travel cards available in Japanese Yen? Where are you based? It seems like every major bank in Australia offers cash cards that support JPY but I'm having more trouble finding international vendors. |

Are there any common, secret services offered by airlines to passengers onboard? I imagine all airlines would be happy to give you as much fluid as you wanted. Dehydration increases the chance of deep vein thromboses and can cause serious problems for passengers with respiratory conditions. |

Are there any common, secret services offered by airlines to passengers onboard? @HaLaBi: Regardless, I'm pretty sure they'd have to keep you in a seat. Putting you on the floor anywhere would be a tripping hazard at best and you really don't want a body flying around the cabin if you hit serious turbulence! |

Is there any United States slang I should avoid in the UK or Ireland? Is the flip flops/thongs thing an issue or are US/UK on the same page about that? I've seen it missunderstood to hilarious effect here in Oz -- I offered to take my friends new UK girlfriend thong shopping so she could enjoy our beautiful beaches... |
