comment Can Foreigners get married in other countries that recognize gay marraiges
Do I understand the question correctly in that OP is asking for countries that recognise gay marriage where that marriage is then accepted as valid in the US? Or is this in reference to any marriage? If the latter, the list is as long as there are countries. If the former, the list is not very long (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same-sex_marriage has a map). But, what's the point, as the US recognises gay marriage, no?

comment Where I can find a guide in Peru to take me safely to the Jivaro headhunting tribe?
I'm quite sure that exporting shrunken heads, legally, will require a lot of paperwork. That said, if I'm not mistaken, the Jivaro also reside in Ecuador. I would suggest trying to arrange this from Quito or Cuenca. Or perhaps from Iquitos in Peru.

comment Can I overnight at the Amsterdam airport to meet someone arriving in the morning?
I would not be surprised if you could not find a seat to fall asleep on. But, Amsterdam is close and hostels are not too expensive, while a bed beats a chair hands down.

comment Hostels in iran?
You should strongly consider getting yourself a Lonely Planet for Iran. There's isn't a lot of budget accommodation in Iran that's aimed at tourists, but LP lists some.

@Relaxed I did not read OPs article. But the very same headline made it to the BBC, with their article stating that AF staff wanted to be able to not wear a headscarf in Tehran. According to that article, the primary issue seemed the wearing of headscarves. You can argue about the quality of the BBC, sure, but that's hardly a 'random website'. Either way, I also saw the update. I will edit my answer.

I understand all that, but I do not agree my example is not relevant, in accordance to what at least the title of the original article wants to convey: "Air France cabin crew angered by ruling to wear headscarves in Tehran". AF staff is not angered, according to this title, by having to go to Iran, they are angered by having to wear headscarves in Tehran.

I'm not sure I follow. As soon as airline staff step out of the plane (and perhaps arguably before that), they are subject to Iranian law, whether they like it or not. The Belgium school is as much obligated to enforce American drinking rules, in America, as they are in enforcing Belgium laws in Belgium.

Wearing headscarves outside the plane is not something which the airline decides on. It's a legal requirement. Airline staff complaining about this, complaining about a legal requirement that has nothing to do with Air France, something that Air France has no control over, is baffling. Whether other issues are also at play is then not relevant. To compare, underage drinking is illegal in quite a few American states. Should, say, Belgian teenagers complain about this to their Belgian schools when going on a school trip, demanding the right to drink in the US?
