comment What to do with the water served with hot chocolate in Italy?
I experienced it in Paris at a cafe did ask the barista what that was for and at this cafe, she said it was to either clean my palate before my espresso or to clean my palate to remove any after taste if I so please. So I suppose she meant "I don't think there is a rule to how to use the water".

comment Turkey Visit Visa
I assume KSA is Kingdom of Saudi Arabia? What is your citizenship, what passport(s) do you hold? These FAQs seem to answer your question. You just need to find out if you would exit the transit lounge.

comment Is a picnic at the Chateau de Versailles possible?
Update post acceptance of answer: The heat killed my picnic idea. Plus, I didn't quite realize that the garden was so vast that walking across it under the blazing sun was quite a task. I rested in the shade of a statue and read a book instead!

@DumbCoder Ok. So Netherlands and the Swiss don't as for it. That's interesting and useful for people applying for tourist visas.

@raman Did you not need a "hosting document" of some sort from your uncle, attested by the town-hall?

comment Having a Skype (video/voice) in public in Paris
Ah! I didn't ever check if the Square Jean XXIII had internet. Useful note to myself. With coffee shop WiFi, what I found was that in a few coffee shops, the steward never got me the WiFi password until he handed me the bill, despite asking him/her for it a few times.

Yes, you speak of the garden next to "Shakespeare and Co.". However, off late I have found the internet iffy there.

comment Vacation in Dubai, then Seychelles, returning through Dubai. Will I need more than 1 visa (to Dubai)?
I'm not familiar with UAE visas but does your visa (e-visa?) say it is single entry or multiple entry?

I think you just wrote a small guidebook on "A Picnic at Chateau de Versailles".

Thank you. However, I don't fully comprehend how the gardens are not part of the palace. Also, it is not clear to me whether I can exit the palace, head to the garden or a supermarket and then head back to the palace. Your maps are fantastic; I will not eat the sheep.

Oh, from your context, I suppose you mean "eat a large breakfast". Thanks for the advice!

When you say "take a very large breakfast", do you mean I should eat a large breakfast or do you mean I should take it with me. That subtle difference might make a difference! ;) Also, the Garden doesn't constitute the palace - so I cannot exit the garden and palace and come back to it?

comment What areas to avoid in Amsterdam for a family-friendly visit
@QuoraFeans If your comment was directed at me, I find it disrespectful. But then I remember that this is the internet and it is full of people like you. No, if I really wanted to know where the red light district or cannabis cafes were, I wouldn't have to ask here.
