comment How to enjoy the Tokyo nightlife?
Roppongi isn't nearly as bad as its reputation if you follow the basic rules above (and as it happens I'm there right now!), but the primary reason I'm recommending it is that it's where English-speakers hang out. All other nightlife areas in Tokyo are much more hit and miss. That said, if you can rustle up a few locals, going out in the "real" Tokyo will be more fun/different.

comment Is there any problem at visa if we keep affidavit that we arer illtreate to obtain passport?
What visa do you want, what nationality are you, and why do you need an affadavit to get a passport? Also, did you mean "ill treated" or "illiterate"?

comment US citizen from parents, no proof of citizenship. Can I reenter the US from Mexico?
Mexico is not going to let you in if you don't have a passport or passport card from some country!

Do you have a passport, or how are you planning to enter Mexico? What are the consequences if you cannot re-enter the U.S.?

comment Food in hand luggage
@Gnubie Completely frozen liquids are allowed, but partly melted ones are not. (Yes, that does not make any sense.) apps.tsa.dhs.gov/mytsa/cib_results.aspx?search=gel%20ice%20pack

comment How is the range of Google Maps new drive time feature defined?
@MarkMayo Sorry, not familiar with the guts of this particular feature; I couldn't tell you the details if I was; and even if I did, the formula would be liable to change without notice. So this question is likely to remain unanswered unless Google chooses to write this up in a public blog post or something.

Or bring an empty water bottle and refill after security.

Cans are also frowned upon. I've had a 125g tin of sprats (fish) in oil confiscated, because oil is a liquid and liquids are bad.

comment Transfer from domestic flight to international flight in Nassau Airport
Also, Bahamasair has a terrible record for cancellations and delays, so you can't really count on even having 1.5 hrs.

comment Can visiting saunas make me more prepared for heat in desert and tropics?
+1. The closest I've felt to a sauna outside a sauna was in Kuwait in midsummer, when it was extremely hot (around 50°C) but not very humid (40%-ish). The tropics, by contrast, are not all that hot (around 30°C) but are extremely humid (often over 90%).

comment Western Europe Lonely Planet Travel Guide for a trip from Paris to Milan for Expo Milano
The direct line between those two points goes through France & Italy (in both), plus maybe Switzerland (in Western only). But in this age of cheap flights you can easily add a stop somewhere else entirely, eg. Spain.
