comment Is there an international standard for medical prescriptions, you can carry around and show to any pharmacy?
@LorenPechtel some countries are pushing for non-handwritten prescriptions being mandatory so being able to read it won't be a problem then

comment What unit of Euro coins/banknote does Rome use the most and what they don't accept normally?
the reason they take up 80% of new coins is that they don't get used as payment; only as change, which means that stores need to keep ordering rolls of 1 and 2 cent coins, after which they disappear from circulation

comment Best way to make my ears pop?
I can pop my ear by just flexing some muscles near the back of my throat. I learned this after I got annoyed by the constant popping when I swallowed and I started eliminating which muscles triggered the popping. This also taught me how to pop my ears on command.

@JohnIsaacks the passengers and crew would suffocate because there's not enough oxygen at high altitudes. I remember one crash where the pressure was not regulated (the maintenance didn't crew didn't reset the switch after a test) and everyone fainted and went into a coma. the plane eventually crashed after the fuel rang out
