Getting nauseated from air travel, but it's *not* motion sickness…what to do? Not an exact duplicate IMO since that questioner wanted to avoid drugs entirely. But the answers there will be useful to this questioner, so +1 for the link! |

Are ice hotels actually comfortable to sleep in? Not only would an igloo be cooler (in the non-literal sense), it would actually also be warmer (in the literal sense). The whole point of igloos is the compactness, properly sized to the number of occupants so that most of the space is taken up by bodies generating heat. As anyone who has ridden a crowded un-air-conditioned subway in August can tell you, this is a great way to generate heat. But it doesn't work if you make the rooms spacious, hotel-like, and inhabited by only one or two people. |

Can the ship's captain really perform your wedding when in international waters? Hmmm...I wonder about the "international waters" part. Since all ships have a flag country, it seems like what would matter when in international waters is that the officiant is legally recognized by the flag country as authorized to perform a wedding. And of course, that you want your wedding to be certified by said flag country. |
