comment Does the Havnebus 991/992 ferry in Copenhagen give a similar experience to the more expensive Canal Tours
Oh, nice! Looks like a more locally-grown operation, making it a more than worthy alternative.

comment What is the cheapest way to stay in London for a week?
50 year olds stay in hostels all the time. Whole families, even. "Hostels...they're not just for youth anymore."

comment What are logistics like for a solo skier visiting Salt Lake City/Park City?
I would actually split this into 3 questions: public transport logistics, lodging tips, and general wisdom on going solo. I have a coworker who has a house in Snowbird, so I'll ask him about the former when he gets in.

comment Vehicle shipping between Europe and the Caribbean
+1 to the above. The expense is one thing, the hassles are another. International shipping does not run with the temporal precision of Swiss trains, and then there is customs. Dominica is small, beautiful, and temperate - buy a motor scooter or two there, and hire a truck locally when you need to haul things. Why be in the Caribbean and stuck inside a vehicle when you could have the wind in your hair?
