comment How to travel cheaply between Charleroi Airport and Brussels?
So, the direct bus is €3.60 more expensive for the convenience of not needing to transfer?

comment Declare an item is not liable for duty?
I have done the opposite, avoided import duty on a new laptop by declaring that I will take it out on exit. The customs officer noted the serial number in my passport (they checked this on exit and would have fined me if I didn't have it). Obviously, the exact procedure varies by country.

comment In an international airport, is there specific set of laws for the international area?
Customs duty and tax exemptions apply in many places (still under the host country's laws, of course).

comment Staying in the toilet during landing
@MeNoTalk Really? Can you cite one example where emergency (either mayday or pan pan pan) was declared due to a passenger in the lavatory (who showed no other abusive intentions)?

@LiamWilliam Flying over without a passport... if that is disallowed, I wonder how they enforce it.

comment Family travel in Thailand - is it safe, can we improvise?
Driving around Thailand by yourself is possible, but might be difficult unless you're used to traffic here (think India, not Europe). Public transport is super easy, and booking hotels as a walk-in is almost never a problem.

comment How to behave on a US visa interview?
The nature of the interview can vary significantly based on your nationality, specific consulate and the type of visa. In Poland it might be easy (EU member, a formality), but I know people who had to endure 40-min long grilling by a consular officer with some borderline-rude personal questions being asked.

comment How to ask drivers not to take me to the bus station when hitchhiking in Thailand?
Hitchhiking in Thailand not risky, just culturally outlandish -- bit like asking to share food from a common dish in the USA. I wouldn't be surprised to see slight aversion either -- what is this rich foreigner (rich by the very fact they can afford coming all the way here) doing bumming a free ride?

comment Is Clark (Philippines) worth a visit for 4 days
Why categorically claim Clark itself not to be worth visiting? There are many foreign visitors to Angeles City, specifically, which is right next to Clark airport, with dozens of hotels and bars catering to them. If there were no tourist attractions whatsoever, those would not exist.

comment British National flying to Vietnam from Bangkok - Can I get the Visa on arrival?
@Karlson, Vietnam has a uniform visa policy for all countries, at least when it comes to visa-on-arrival. There is also just a dozen or so countries which do not require a visa.

comment How can I renew my Italian passport abroad?
Aside from the renewal, watch out for common visa/entry regulations that require a passport with no less than x (usually 6) months validity remaining.

comment How to find accomodation when your reserved accomodation appears to be overbooked or worse non existent?
Why not just ask "how to find accommodation on the spot without a booking"? I don't see how the story of a failed booking is relevant to potential answers. The question seems a too general.
