Crossing from Georgia into Turkey @Jonik The Wikipedia information is correct. However, Posof is both district and the town about 15km from the border. Officially, you cross at the Türkgözü border post, but you would say to someone that you crossed at Posof, since that is the largest settlement in the area. This situation is the same for most other Turkish border posts: Kilis/Öncüpınar, Silopi/Habur, Hopa/Sarp, etc. |

Is there an overland route to Kashmir from Europe? I thought that the majority of people in Jammu and Ladakh were not considered to "Kashmiri" by ethnicity or language. If that is not the common usage, then it is my mistake! |

Is there an overland route to Kashmir from Europe? @AnkurBanerjee I thought the Indian Kashmiris (and not everyone in Jammu & Kashmir is Kashmiri of course) almost universally want either independence or to be part of Pakistan. Is that incorrect? |
