Fyi I live in DC and would just drive the whole way to Niagara. It's maybe 7 hours each way, and you have your car. Flying into Buf will be pretty expensive.

I rented cars for most of 2011 in FL- typically they were covering the tolls, but you should double check.

+1 on the "hire someone to do it." I paid my maid in Nepal about $3/week (1998) to cook for me, clean for me, and do my laundry. I offered her a raise - she refused, because she didn't want the stress of earning more than her peers. As a westerner, it probably feels weird - but this is precisely the first step in becoming immersed in a foreign culture.
