After half-life programming computers in C/C++ and assembly, in 2009 I changed radically and started a new life as LAMP programmer. Now I'm in love with web programming.

comment Right to accomodation in case of delayed flight, missing connecting flight
"Both flights were booked with and are operated by the same airline" but in the same booking? That's very important

I think that is obvious: when you travel by car in Iceland you need to check the weather and road conditions every day.

comment Is checkmytrip.com overloaded? Is there an alternative?
If you are only interested in the aircraft type, please check Seat Guru (seatguru.com) that also offers this kind of info. If not, please update your question to reflect what are you expecting.

comment Tool like Google Maps Engine
Sorry, I've changed my question. Of course, when I wrote "Google Maps My Places" I was talking about Google Maps Engine. My mistake. When you use GME, only the first 20 points in each layer can be personalized (i.e. you can put a different icon). I need this feature in order to distinguish a petrol station from a view point at a glance.

comment Is possible to camp in a tent in Iceland in April?
Obviously @Tor-EinarJarnbjo, nobody can say if I will be confortable or not. But, it's possible (and that's my question) to know if there's common to camp in Iceland in winter. If this is very rare it will make us think that this is not a good idea, while if this not so rare it could make us think that this could be done and is not a crazy idea. I'm asking about the "normal" behaivour, what people tend to do, not what I should do :)

Ok, I have good winter camping gear, alpinism like. But my question is about if "people do it" or not. It is, if we go and camp in April, we are going to be alone in the campsite? (not including people on campervans or RV, of course).

Yes, good advices to visit Indonesia! Thanks. But as @jpatokal say, Papua seems different and that's the idea behind my question. Anyway, +1 just for the "be sure to wear rings" advice ;) Thanks.

@jpatokal Yes, I understand the problems that you mention about Papua, but our idea is to visit the tribes in Papua, that has low contact with western people.

comment Carrying medicines internationally for a friend
Mark: when my wife and I were in India we could buy any medicine we want without prescription. So if one has a prescription, even if it's for other person, I believe that this is the minor problem in India. (Also, in my home country, Spain, you can get most medicines with other person prescription and a signed authorization).

comment Is possible to visit all Iceland sights in April/May?
I've read this question while looking for advice, but for me isn't relevant any of the 4 points there. I'm only interested in the accessibility, even if there are too much tourist, is cold or the hotels are more expensive. My holiday dates are very restrictive and I need to know if I'll be able to access to all Iceland sights or it will be better to go to Iceland on summer. Anyway, thanks for your comment!
