After half-life programming computers in C/C++ and assembly, in 2009 I changed radically and started a new life as LAMP programmer. Now I'm in love with web programming.

Are there any last-minute cheap Spain-domestic flights? Flight 1 hour / from 30 € (one way offer), Fast train 3 hours 18-40 € (one way, depends on offers). Slow train is not convenient, because its price is similar to fast train and it takes more than 5 hours. Bus is about 50 (return ticket) and takes 4-5 hours. |

Why SOME Israeli groups are so impolite and what to do? Thanks for your reasonable answer. I didn't know about this 2-3 years of military service and the gap year they take. |

Why SOME Israeli groups are so impolite and what to do? @Geeo I believe that "unpolite guests in a hostel" is a question that was asked before in stackexchange, my question is about that specific group of people, because I'd like to understand what happens in their mind to have this behaviour or if that's normal in Israel or if nothing of this is possible, how to avoid the contact with them... I don't want to avoid visiting south america for this. |

Why SOME Israeli groups are so impolite and what to do? @Dirty-flow unconstructive? Well, it's a doubt I have that could help me to know why this happens (if something happens in south-america but not happens in SEA for instance, it's possible that it reveals the background of the unpolite behaviour) |

What's the cheapest way to reach the Cristo Redentor (Corcovado)? In addition, I meet people that walked for 3-5 hours to get to the top of the Corcovado. Then, anyway, you have to pay an entrance fee. |

How to get from DMK Airport to Sathorn Road, Tungmahamek Sathorn, Bangkok? @hippietrail: That's true, but when I stayed in Bangkok I had a lot of problems with taxis because they don't "understand" where I want to go. May be, the op should ask to get the address in thai characters. |

Why is the train between Barcelona and Madrid so expensive? Sorry for the long comment. Only add that Spain has now the biggest high-speed train infrastructure in the world, only after China (that's really big!). If you are really interested in the problem, please use a translator with this website: tribunas.racc.es/es/ave_en_espanya |

Why is the train between Barcelona and Madrid so expensive? The same @MarcelC. High Speed train in Spain (AVE) is not constructed by real needs. In the case of the Sevilla-Madrid line the reason was that Andalucia is the territory with more % of votes to the socialdemocratic party in the government in 1992. After that a conservative and centralist goverment (Aznar) decided that "have to" join all big cities with the capital (Madrid) even if there are no passeger traffic. To mantain all this the prices are big and with the crisis the budget has been reduced and now in Spain there is a big debate about these kind of high-speed/-cost transportation. |

Why is the train between Barcelona and Madrid so expensive? Well, you have a 600km train trip for 32 euros :) The political reasons are hard to explain, but may be you know that Barcelona is the capital of a region that is in process to independize from Spain. Also the high-speed train was a political decision, not a real need for most Spanish. |
