comment Can I enter and exit a country immediately?
I've been in Malaysia for 5 minutes, just enter walking and come back to Thailand. In general, you have no "minimum".

comment How can two people travel/survive cheaply for two months between housing contracts?
My girlfriend and me have been travelling through Thailand with $800 for 6 weeks. If op can get a cheap airfare it's possible. Anyway, Cuba is a better option. We expent $700 per month and airfare is lower from USA.

comment Cuba casas particulares reliable sources
If you are planning to go, tell Magnolia I recommended you to go and you will have an extra of kindness. (Just say "Ivan from Spain wrote an article about your network as he promised" ;) If you can take a printed copy, she will be yours ;) ).

comment Is it possible to cross the Wagan border by car?
Well, I don't know if that's a real "failure". May be you can't cross the border with your own private car. The unique answer here doesn't clarify this point :/

comment What is the daily fee for using a local SIM card in Cuba?
@MarkMayo I've been there in August. In fact, 72 hours ago I was at Havana :) In all international hotels and many city places like "La rampa", "El Capitolio", etc there are public wifi spots. This is why I say that "everything is changing very fast" ;)

comment Which is the cheapest way to get to Isla Juventud in Cuba?
Bellamar ferry is no longer available. I was asking about this topic in Habana and the two options you have now are Kometa and Cubana and the prices are those you mentioned.

@MarkMayo everything is changing very fast. Now there are wifi spots in almost every city, fast and reliable, but a bit expensive (2 CUC per hour).

May be I can reformulate the question: Are there any free snorkeling site excluding Varadero and Cayos?

comment What sort of computer / electronic device would you take on a backpack trip around Europe to allow you to keep in touch?
I'm also very 'weight conscious' but I couldn't stay without a 11 inches laptop because I need a PC to work. The idea of carrying just a USB hard drive with a virtual machine is very attractive... but I still have some doubts about it. How do you work? Just connect the HD to the hostel PC? The hostel owners allow that? And, may be the most important, do you have a regular job? Because I have my own business and maybe I have to work 2 or 3 days at month, but some times I have a bug to solve and I have to work one week 12 hours a day... Thanks for your advices :)

comment What's the cheapest stable route to cross the Pacific?
@AdrienBe I've do some research and the cheapest prices I find for Bangkok are around $350 (BKK-LAX) and fly to BKK from Australia is not very expensive. The curious part of this is that this is that these BKK-LAX are not crossing the Pacific, they go to Europe and from there to LAX :-O But that's a good answer if you want to write it ;)

comment What's the cheapest stable route to cross the Pacific?
@NateEldredge the stability is a requirement because the date is unknow due I'm asking to have an idea about how to cross the Pacific Ocean the day I arrive to Australia and have to cross it in my around-the-world trip. Anyway the "stable" price, has its limits, of course, I cannot pretend to buy a ticket for tomorrow in high season and pay the same than for a ticket 3 month in advance and low season. The "stable" should be understand as a goal, not as a strict rule.

comment What's the cheapest stable route to cross the Pacific?
Well, I'm not looking for a ship only, a flight is ok. The question is: which is the cheapest way to cross the Pacific flying or by sea?

comment What's the cheapest stable route to cross the Pacific?
If it's cheaper I have no problem to stop, but it's not necessary. To clarify, I'm looking for a reliable and cheap way to cross from Oceania or south of SEA to anywhere in the american continent (north or south). No problem if this imply a lot of stopovers or I have to take a ship + some flight.

That's why I specified "stable" route: no big changes on different year dates

comment Why ITA Matrix is failing so much last months?
I find your answer really interesting and rich. Exactly, ITA is right the 95% of times, is the other 5% the problem :) Of course I write as a sales city Madrid because I'm there :) and the travel agents that I contacted are reliable and I'm sure they use the same booking codes that ITA give. So, given all this, the only explanation that IMHO is admissible is that ITA uses some kind of cache. Until now I believed that ITA didn't use cache, and this makes me reconsider how I use ITA and his reliability. Thanks.

comment Road-trip in USA: can a foreigner buy a car?
Yes, sure, for 1 month that's true, but I'm talking about a 3 month road trip.. and also it's possible that I drive the car to some other countries (Mexico, central america... until it die or I can sell it for a good price).
