comment Are companies offering to obtain the EU delay compensation for you, effective?
I am one year in the process and so far I have to disagree on doing it yourself, the airlines seem to be really reluctant and are doing everything in their power to not comply with the regulations. In my specific case, we are on to the next level and that is that company assigned a lawyer and the case is apparently being sent to court. I am still a bit sceptical, but there seems to be some activity. So for now I remain.

comment Anyone know of any late night co-working spaces in London?
Why the close votes? Seems like a very reasonable question

comment Can I know where I need to go to experience a given weather type?
@markmayo it is about doing a hiking trip with friends where good weather is required.

@nateEldredge In my experience they can be. It mainly depends on the landscape. In a lot of areas you sometimes simply need to drive 20km to get a total opposite weather type.

comment Does an app exists that tells me if I am in the correct train in Belgium?
@Tor-EinarJambjo I don't think that adding those details would improve the question perse. These comments however are contra productive. I add a specific meta post to discuss the matter: meta.travel.stackexchange.com/questions/1818/…

@Tor-EinarJarnbjo why do you assume I didn't? I find you comment quite offensive. Please don't draw conclusions on incorrect assumptions.

Why is this question closed? Seems quite reasonable to me.

I wouldn't call amstelfietspoint.nl/fotos/ovfietsNW.jpg a grandma look, this is more the grandma look: vvvapeldoorn.nl/… However those are the most awesome bikes to cycle ;)

Isn't this question better asked on money.stackexchange?

comment Why do Indian citizens need many visas?
@dirty-flow it is about limiting traveling options to one out of 6 people in the world. I think it is a good question for this platform, as it fits the curiosity tag.

comment Can you split India in distinct focal points to travel to?
To clarify, I don't want to do it all in one trip. I usually have 1 months to 6 weeks of travel time available.

@Tor-EinarJarnbjo With the danger of going of topic, the truth lies in the details: europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/vehicles/driving/validity/…. You can keep you license as long it remains valid. Also details, Germany can make a record of you in Flensburg, however not registering points on your non-german license

comment Can I drive a Dutch friend's car in the Netherlands?
@Tor-EinarJarnbjo That is not completely true. e.g. German traffic violations points can't be assigned to a non-German license, and you are obliged to exchange your foreign EU license for a local one if you change EU-country.
