OK so we're the visa experts as I expected. If that one's acceptable here so is this one. People shouldn't get trigger happy when spotting keywords.

@pnuts: I expected as much, and tried to allow for the possibility in what I've written so far.

comment How should I express the end of a period of time I'm allowed to stay in a country so as not to confuse it with visa expiration?
@Relaxed: Yeah in China there is also a two-entry visa and a multiple-entry visa. I've discussed that situation in a couple of questions here.

comment How should I express the end of a period of time I'm allowed to stay in a country so as not to confuse it with visa expiration?
@pnuts: Are we hammering it out of will an expert like Gayot Fow turn up and just know all the right answers? Please show how you are certain there there can never be a straight yes/no answer. That would also be a correct answer. I reworded the title to not sound like asking for polling and opinion. Let's only allow factual answers. If it varies by country or there is no set term, let's establish that that's the case and then post it as a factual answer. So I did ask a meta question.

@pnuts: So we shouldn't help travellers facing this problem? And in fact the more I think about it, it's not a problem with the site. It would be if we were discussing the wording of a tag or something ...

comment Overland route from the Caucasus to Mongolia without entering Russia?
They've decided to extend it up to I think 30 days but they expect the actual implementation of that to take some time. If my memory of what I read on Wikipedia and Caravanistan is correct.
