Declaring illegal substances at customs - what would happen? @Randy: A rather different case: I brought a can of pepper spray in checked luggage to Canada (from the UK) and declared it on the customs form. The customs agent inspected it and told me they had to seize it because it was not explicitly labelled as defense against wild animals. The only annoying part was that I then had to wait half an hour for them to dig up the correct form. |

Is there a “best” wireless broadband provider or package for Australia? @hippietrail: the SIM card will work just fine, but the contract probably won't cover data, or charge horrendous rates for it. But many contracts have a system of add-ons you can book where you e.g. pay an additional $15 per month for 1GB of data. |

Is there a “best” wireless broadband provider or package for Australia? @Jonik: I'd suggest removing the term "dongle" completely, as I've only ever heard it used to mean copy-protection components that come with expensive software. |

General security concerns about Cancun, Mexico @Conrad C: you're just being ridiculous. Cancun is no more dangerous than any large city in the USA. It's practically an American colony anyway. |
