comment Change itineraries in Munich do I need a Schengen visa?
@veebee: no, it's not possible for a practical reason: in Munich, Etihad and Lufthansa operate on different terminals, so you 'll have to leave the transit area anyway.

I think many people who write real reviews don't want to spend much time on it either....

Interestingly, "mini stories" are actually a strong indication of a fake review, according to a study (see my answer). People who write them also try to fake authenticity...

comment Why are postcards of Cologne in ruins following WW2 bombing sold in the city?
@Nobilis: as for how they are perceived by Germans: while it's true that for NPD types it's often "look what they did to us" and all the implications you can draw from that (often along the lines of "so what we did wasn't all that bad either"), for mainstream society it's more "look what happens in a war; let's avoid those at all costs". For example, one reason why the not-too-popular Schröder government won the 2002 elections was that they clearly refused to join Bush's "coalition of the willing" for the Iraq war.

comment Will the city of Prague be accessible during a marathon?
@TomDoes: here's a video of that event last year: youtube.com/watch?v=DYNz7C7oVec - looks like neither the number of runners nor of spectators would make the city inaccessible and you could cross the track without problems in most places
