comment Is it true that people “can just take all the luggage off the airport conveyer belt and leave with it.”?
Having not done a conclusive survey, I also suspect that baggage collection is moved to an "arrivals only" area in those areas where theft of this kind is most likely to be rife, which mitigates the threat.

comment What (if any) regularly scheduled airline flights pass over Antarctica?
I was going off your's/Mark's answers, i.e. obvious within the context of this question and answers. Nothing additional to that.

comment Can my Venezuelan girlfriend take connecting flights within the US to get home?
In effect she will be visiting the US if transiting, hence the relevance.

comment Does Turkish Airlines tend to “economically” cancel flights?
Australian carriers will drop underbooked flights on quite late notice as well, even up to the day before. In their case, however, almost all flights are along a number of very well-frequented routes so they will automatically just book you on to another flight on the same day - usually +/- three hours from your original departure.

comment Partial cancellation of a train ticket
It's not pure guesswork, it's educated guesswork. If he wants information on a specific railway operator or information more generally he can edit his question and provide that. If you're truly concerned you can provide a more general answer, and he can accept the answer that most fits his needs. As it is, if someone's trying to provide a useful answer (IMO good on dh47 for attempting to do so) they have to fill in those gaps themselves.

It'd be too generic - just about every question on here could be tagged with it.

comment Where can I try Chitty cuisine in Malacca?
Did some cross-referencing of dishes and it looks like there's at least one case that should be a Chitty dish that I've edited in. Another guideline is to look for crab: One distinct thing about Chitty food is also, it is not meat-bias. Indians love crab, while Malays like fish and sotong/squid.Indeed, when one look ,it is really a blend of both worlds.
