comment Other than Baarle-Hertog/Baarle-Nassau, where in the EU can I take a selfie with my feet in two different countries?
This is too easy, there must be tens of marked three-country points, let alone just two.

comment Where can I try an autonomous driving car?
The other ones have rubber wheels and run on concrete, so they might barely qualify. But isn't Skytrain simply a train, running on tracks?

comment Is it safe to visit Amsterdam on New Year's?
@user568458: note that the Netherlands already is part of the air strikes on IS, but only in Iraq, not over the border in Syria. But anyway, although there is a chance that maybe some day there will be a terrorist attack somewhere in the Netherlands is not a reason not to come here.

comment Air travel with white powder in little transparent bag
A long time ago, I was a long haired hippie and I wanted to enter Switzerland with a friend. We obviously matched some profile and were selected for careful screening. Turns out the milk powder packets we had with us had broken, so the first thing she opened produced a cloud of white powder. We thought this was hilarious and when she opened our dirty socks next, we were let go without further questions...

comment How to get from Antwerp to Breskens by bus (or other transport) but not train?
Anyway there exists a direct train from Antwerpen to Brugge, and from there the bus to Breskens. If you want to avoid the train, I wouldn't be surprised if a tram and three buses is the best you can do.

Amusingly, if I try to find "Antwerpen to Breskens, via Brugge" on 9292.nl, it takes that train to Vlissingen and the ferry to Breskens... then it goes to Brugge by bus, and then back to Breskens!

comment Best way to physically move monetary value around
@Relaxed: I don't mean that as a bitcoin fan (I'm not), just seems to me that a $450k gold bar more or less the opposite of what I think of when I read "convenience + ease of access". Where would you be able to sell it?

@Alex: why would a gold bar of all things be easier to access than bitcoins?

comment What disadvantages in not queueing early to board Ryanair flight?
Also, if you do get to keep your carry-on luggage, it still happens that there isn't enough space left for it in the overhead storage room in the cabin, and you have to keep it at your feet or so. Still helps to be first.

I've been to Bromo but I've only seen pictures of Ijen, it does seem very different.

comment Is a train reservation required or optional on ICE in the Netherlands and Germany?
There should be plenty of space in the train, and you have a lot of time in Utrecht, won't be a problem at all.

I'm not sure, I'm always in 1. klasse and don't have a good idea of how full the train is in 2. What time of day are you travelling? Commuters are an issue during rush hour only, mostly the train leaving Utrecht at 17:02.
