Birth while traveling on-board an airplane "A separate question is what the "place of birth" on the birth certificate will say ... it will have little importance in most cases." -- Tell that to Obama and the Birthers |

Birth while traveling on-board an airplane @sawa, there is no way that would come into play in an airline issue, unless the flight was purposefully flying directly along a border for a significant period of time |

Birth while traveling on-board an airplane @Andra, I bet that citizenship issues play no role in the airlines refusing pregnant passengers... that does not affect the airline at all... the diversion and liability issues are all they care about |

Birth while traveling on-board an airplane @Kyralessa, I disagree. For reasons of passenger safety they can do just about anything. I'm almost certain that airline safety regulations trump the ADA big time. |

Birth while traveling on-board an airplane It's not true that "pregnant ladies on 7th month are not allowed to air travel". This is up to each airline... there are no laws covering this as far as I know. And in practice there are some airlines that have no limit on this and you can travel in the 9th month if you want. |

What does a technical stop mean in air travel? fuel leak, etc... That is an "emergency landing" not a "technical stop" |

Can chartering a private plane be an affordable alternative to scheduled flights Heh... I have heard of that issue hapenning to a friend... but he found out just in time because he hapenned to call the airline the night he was supposed to leave (thinking he still had 1 more day) and he was able to rush to the airport in time |

Why did my flights make unscheduled fuel stops? Ireland would be for eastbound... Nova Scotia for westbound |

Why did my flights make unscheduled fuel stops? Interesting that they don't use Bangor, Maine |

What to do if I lost my passport before flight in another country? one thing that comes to mind is the concept of an "interests section" in a 3rd country's diplomatic mission... Switzerland is a common 3rd country for this |

What to do if I lost my passport before flight in another country? I am EXTREMELY skeptical that this story is completely true and that the person involved truly exhausted all other options.... I would really be curious to hear from someone who is an expert in this topic |
