comment Safest way to travel from US to Mexico city by bus
Have done that Quito to Bogota - the Farc stuff is really more in the NW of Colombia. Last month I bussed down to Tijuana, others were continuing on to Mexico, it felt degrees more civilised than the Colombian trip. You'll be fine.

comment In which countries can I find spiders as traditional dishes?
@EdmundYeung99 sure, but off the top of my head - NZ has huhu grubs, Aus has witchity grubs, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand have spiders, crickets and more, I've had bugs in Canada and US, and UK....and South Africa...and Morocco....so it's still fairly broad...

comment In which countries can I find spiders as traditional dishes?
Almost every country in the world has insects to eat - even reserved countries like NZ, Aus, Canada, US I've seen spiders, crickets, locusts, grubs and more. This is way too broad IMHO.

And Australia (wichity grubs), NZ (huhu grubs), just about every country on earth. This is way too broad a question :/

comment No record found of a I-94 form submitted in 2007
I somehow still had an I94 last time that wasn't handed back in. The guy at the border was all "you were meant to give this back!". I asked "so what happens now?". He simply shoved it in a drawer and that was that. Of course this is just a story, not a rule, but you may be fine.

Sure we can just remove the 'China' part and have it on topic?

can you provide a source? Talk about your experience? Anything more than just a one line sentence?

comment Is it true you must not stop at Red lights in South Africa while driving?
@Calchas yeah, I considered that, but taht's not what the question asked. "is it true you must not stop" - no, that's not true. Is it true sometimes people don't stop - sure, that's true occasionally, in times of great stress/need/fear for safety. (source: lived in South Africa for 13 years)

comment Why has it become a formidable task to book an affordable hotel in Vancouver BC two weeks in advance?
As soon as the WC was over, the hostels suddenly became a lot more acecssible. If you are in the Samesun, I'm there on the 16th :)

I was trying to do s o for vancouver a couple of weeks ago, and it was almost impossible. Turns out it was the football (womens) world cup final. Perhaps there's another event on the 17th that may cause you problems.

comment Will the average tourist encounter problems on the street in Cape Town?
I've edited it to try and help a bit to show you what I mean. I suspect your other questions could do with similar efforts. Hope that helps!

comment Will the average tourist encounter problems on the street in Cape Town?
And I totally see why you're comparing it to other how safe ones, but it's generally not a great idea to compare to historical questions as the community has changed over time, and old questions are kept in for 'historical' purposes. The help center may have been updated since they were asked.

@Dan if you look at the help center and adjust your question to meet the criteria in there (subjective is generally frowned upon), then your question automatically goes into the review-to-reopen queue. However if it's still subjective (your title still says 'how safe' and your question still says 'how likely' - it's not like we can give a percentage!), then people are likely to vote no to reopen.

No. A red light means stop.

comment In China airports, is passport needed on ticket?
I've never seen a passport number on a ticket (some airlines request it, but it's not on the ticket). I've flown in/out of China and the US.

comment Buying from an Indian eCommerce website using Bank of America debit/credit card
I'm voting to close this question as off-topic because it doesn't appear to be a travel question, but is a web-shopping question instead.

Maybe take the rest of the discussion to the Travel Chat guys.

comment what options do i have to get from Thessaloniki, Greece to Sofia, Bulgaria
Sure, but you said you were looking for ways. What ways have you found? Presumably you're not expecting 100 different answers going through every single possible way. See how to get from Greece to Horsens as an example.
