comment Do I need to keep petty cash on me for bribes in Zimbabwe?
@Dirty-flow I've tweaked it. Hopefully the answers will be more about how to avoid having to deal with corrupt officials, or more legal approaches to handling the situations.

Asking 'how much' is VERY subject and against the faq for this site. I've tweaked your question to be more about whether you need money to offset corruption in Zimbabwe. I hope that's ok.

comment Which (South) East-Asian contries are the cleanest?
Really not a problem you're trying to solve, let alone a question that can be objectively and/or accurately answered without more specific criteria.

Polling people / asking for stories generally isn't how this website works - see the faq. I suggest hopping into our Travel Chat and asking in there. For example, I'm about to finish a 1 year visa in Canada, and it's been a blast, and when I'm in the chat (often) would be happy to have a word about it. However, as per the faq, for now I'm closing this as not suitable for the site. :/

I'm confused. We all hate the draconian rules the LCCs have, but they're there in plain text to read beforehand. What exactly are you defending yourself against? It was you who put yourself in said delicate position, no? Myself and all my friend in London reguarly swore we would never fly again with RyanAir with their fees, rules and so on, but then we'd see their cheap ads and go "oh one more time". You get what you pay for, unfortunately. However, a receipt should have been provided. I'd definitely contact their complaints department, or include them in a tweet - surprisingly effective!
