I don't see a need to travel into the city. You can easily get a car from Sydney Airport or from Sydney central or Sydney downtown. There are many more locations as well but no need to go there as this service can be provided at the airport only. If you head downtown then you would just get stuck in the traffic that also in rush hours of morning.
