About

Idaho is a landlocked state in the Northwest United States bordered by Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. The name Idaho comes from Shoshoni language "ee-dah-how" which in English could be translated as "Behold! The sun is coming down the mountain".

Idaho has a large area of wilderness covering the state including Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness Area covering some 9300 square kilometers.

Idaho's economy is primarily agriculture which produces large quantities of wheat grown in the United States as well as 1/3 of potatoes but it also holds headquarters of ON Semiconductor and Micron Technologies.
