Obviously for many places this is highly dependent on the time of year for good weather etc but not for others...

Which are the cheapest routes (pairs of origin and destination) to fly? For example flying sfo to Boston is typically half the price of sfo to buffalo. Also, Is there a website that aids in looking up his info?

I'm not clear on the problem you're facing? Are you trying to find the cheapest in the world? Because often RyanAir or someone will do $1 flight specials - do we count those? Currently you've asked two questions in one (Cheapest routes, and a website) - but I'm not sure exactly what it is that you want in an answer. – Mark Mayo Oct 2 '12 at 18:53
This question is not clearly formulated. I've fly with Ryanair for 1 euro to some destinations from (ALC, Spain), but I'm sure you are not asking about this. – Ivan Oct 2 '12 at 19:45
With regards to the website: try for example skyscanner.com with something like SFO - Anywhere, November 2012 (Whole month). – Jonik Oct 2 '12 at 20:08
What would be interesting is to know which long-haul routes are on average cheaper to take to cross an ocean (like Paris-Montreal is overall way cheaper than Paris-Toronto or London-Montreal). Maybe it is linked to how airline companies organise their network (beyond the impact of history or trafic) – Vince Oct 3 '12 at 8:38
