Travel Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for road warriors and seasoned travelers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Currently, I live in Paris, France. I would like to travel in Europe (any country) from Oct 27 to Nov 5 by train/plane. I believe that between this time North Europe is not a good option due to cold. So, I would prefer to travel in Southern European counties (Swiss, Spain, Italy, etc.).

Could you please advise me on what is the best option in terms of weather and cost? You could suggest good north European countries also. Please assume that I have a visa permit to travel.

Kindly advise me on both options.

Currently, this question is not a good fit for our site, as per our faq. It's too broad, too open, asks for 'the best' without detail about you - what stuff are you interested in, what cost is 'good' for you, etc. Please have a read of the faq and then re-edit your question, and then you can flag it for reopening. It's nice to see you're interested in going to these places, but currently I'll have to close the question. – Mark Mayo Sep 19 '12 at 18:13
