I want to leave Quetzaltenango the 30th of July and arrive the 1st of August in Utila. I am aware this is a tight schedule. What would be the best + cheapest + most comfortable way of doing this?

'best' and 'cheapest' and 'most comfortable' don't usually go together, especially with a tight schedule. Could you be more specific? –  Mark Mayo Jul 25 '14 at 0:06
Cheapest is always to walk or hitch-hike. Most comfortable is usually anything except that. –  Flimzy Jul 25 '14 at 15:23
@MarkMayo ok: the cheapest way to get there safely in time. And feel free to add a comment how i could improve my question –  Toskan Jul 25 '14 at 23:26

You can take a bus from Quetzaltenango to Guatemala city, then check the guatemalan airline (tag.com.gt) for a flight to Honduras, you can land in Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula, or Roatán. This is all I can help you, never went to Honduras before

Hope you enjoyed my beautiful country Guatemala

For the bus, you can pick one of this list, take a non-stop bus from the link and avoid the "camionetas" –  chang502 Jul 24 '14 at 21:24
it is 250 dollars to use the flight. That is, just ways too much. –  Toskan Jul 25 '14 at 23:27
