I'll be in Dubai from 16 to 28 february. I'll be free in the evenings as I'll be working from 9am to 5pm only with Fridays and Saturdays being my days off. What should I definitely do there? Suggestions for places that are historically important and also places where I can shop cheap (especially electronics) will be much appreciated. I'm also considering options in the nearby Emirates. And my budget is 200 AED/day (with exceptions for shopping, of course) for the full 13 days.

If you need any more details, please ask in comments.

If I understand correctly you will then have 3 days for sightseeing rather than 13 as indicated in the title??? –  PERSONA NON GRATA Feb 6 '14 at 5:53

200 dirhams will not get you much. The last couple of times I went I did some skiing, had high tea at the Burj, shopped at the Madinat Jumeirah, visited Atlantis and the various souks. All of which cost a fair bit... –  Rory Alsop Feb 6 '14 at 9:44
@RoryAlsop That's 200 AED per day and shopping is excluded. This is only for travel and entry into various places. Could you please share some suggestions? –  Aamil Syed Feb 6 '14 at 11:29
Those are my suggestions. –  Rory Alsop Feb 6 '14 at 12:23
