I want to know, what will be the major differences for a South African travelling to Chicago, USA would be. Eg, gratuity tips, attire, weather differences, food etc...

Isn't comparing Chicago and RSA, like comparing apples and oranges? You might want to specify a region, but even then I am afraid that the question is way to subjective to get a proper answer. – Andra Feb 13 at 9:33
