I'm looking to upgrade my luggage collection and want to get a couple of suitcases, preferably hard case Samsonites, for cabin and longer trips.

I was about to buy a couple of Cubelites as this is what I envision as the 'classic' Samsonite and want them to last. However after browsing their site I've seen the Inova collection. A spec comparison shows them pretty much equal but the price difference is huge (£155 compared to £339 for cabin).

Does anyone have any experience of either model and on Samsonite hard case luggage in general?

Is the disparity in price difference equal to build quality? Does spending £200+ more mean it could potentially last a few more years?

We do have questions about certain types of products, related to backpacks, suitcases or other travel gear. As well as questions about shopping for flights with specific airlines or search engines. Suitcases are travel-related, so I'm not sure what exactly makes this off-topic. – Jonik Jan 19 at 19:56
